How do we fasten the aircraft to the
column?
One of the strongest areas in the airplane is where the wing is attached
to the fuselage. The wings and fuselage are fastened together with thousands of
small fasteners and four big fasteners. We attach the outer ring of the bearing to
the two big fasteners on the left wing and to the two on the right. The big
fasteners are called spar pins. |
