The airplane is bolted to the outer ring of an 8' diameter bearing.  The steel column is bolted to the inside ring.

As an owner, you will have control of a joystick that runs a motor which turns the gear on the inner ring enabling you to rotate the airplane as you wish.  You can rotate the airplane to get your favorite view.  You can lock it in place if you like.   You have the same control over the airplane that a crane operator has over his crane.
