| The first airplane home is to have a 35' high column with a
spiral staircase. The bottom of the spiral staircase leads up to an inner circular
platform that is fixed to the column. You would step from the inner circular
platform to the outer. The outer platform is connected to the airplane and it
rotates. Having two coencentric circles eliminates pinchpoints as the airplane
weathervanes. From the outer platform, you step onto a spiral staircase that takes you
into the fuselage. |
